Everyday booking intake

Detailing quotes built from photos of the actual car

A detailing quote lives or dies on the car's real condition. The intake asks what you want done and what you drive, then captures photos of the paint and interior — so the number that comes back is grounded in the actual car, not a phone guess.

The questions this niche actually needs

A blank “how can we help?” box gets you a callback and three more questions. Here's what the auto detailing & wrap intake asks up front, so the request arrives ready to act on.

  • What do you want done — full detail, paint correction, ceramic, PPF, or a wrap?
  • What are you driving, and roughly what size?
  • Mobile at your place, or dropped off at the shop?
  • For a wrap or coating, what color or finish do you have in mind?
  • Photos of the paint, any scratches or swirls, and the interior.

Try it — this is the real form

The same engine a paying business would use, running in demo mode. Answer a couple of questions and watch the brief that would land in the owner's inbox. Nothing is emailed and no account is created.

What the photo does here

Photos of the paint and interior do the estimating. Swirl marks under the light, a scratch's depth, ground-in stains, or the panels a partial wrap has to cover — these decide whether it's a two-hour polish or a full-day correction, and they set the price before anyone drives over. A blank contact box gets none of that, so the callback is just to ask for pictures anyway.

Meanwhile, in the owner's inbox · 9:40 AM CT
Service: Auto detailing & wrap — Paint correction / swirl removal
Timing: Within the next week or two
Vehicle: SUV or crossover · Location: Mobile — come to the address
Notes: heavy swirls on the hood and doors, a few deeper scratches on the tailgate
Photos: 4 attached (hood under light, tailgate scratch, driver door, interior)
Location: 76102
Preferred contact: text

What the shop would note: swirl-heavy paint with isolated deeper scratches usually
means a one- to two-stage correction, and the tailgate marks may need wet-sanding —
worth confirming from the photos before quoting a full day on site.

What “structured intake” means here

A detailing intake is a hosted request form that captures the service wanted, the vehicle, whether it's mobile or drop-off, and photos of the car's condition. That's the input a detailer needs to quote accurately and set aside the right amount of time — instead of trading texts and photos to piece the job together.

Where this is the wrong tool

This is for detailing, coatings, PPF, and vinyl wraps on personal, exotic, and fleet vehicles. It's not a collision or body-repair estimator and it isn't for mechanical work — and it never gives paint-correction or coating how-tos.
